Music

Silly Mad John likes music a lot but his favourite singer is Bob Dylan. I think he listens to "Like a Rolling Stone" quite a lot.

Tonight during dinner in the garden an Easyjet flew over us. It was exactly the same as the one Silly Mad John took me on holiday in. We went to the beach and had a lovely time together.

Sick

Silly Mad John is sick. He ate too many sausages. I hope he feels better soon.

Litter picker

Silly Mad John has bought himself a litter picker like mummy's. The only difference is that his has a purple button instead of a grey one like on mummy's.

New car

This week SMJ bought a new green car. He chose the same kind of car as papa because he likes his new car.

Family man

SMJ has four children. They are called Liam, Ryan, Maisie and Anna. He is silly though because sometimes he forgets Liam's name and calls him Calum!

Favourite film

Today SMJ told me his favourite film was Tangled... I just can't believe the silly man thinks the princess is a boy though!

Missing you already!

I really miss the guys when they go to Papa's house overnight... I wonder if they really miss me whenever I go for a sleepover at Silly Mad John's house?

Today and tomorrow

Today I didn't see my pretend grandpa. He couldn't come and visit me because he fell out a tree and cut his leg. He had to go to the hospital and get a blue plaster on it but now it's ok.

Tomorrow daddy and I are going alone to visit him late in the afternoon in the forest because he only has two horses so we are going to ride one each. There is a black one called Sarah and a white one called Tyler. I am going to ride the white one and daddy is going to ride the black one. Tyler is a nice well-behaved horse. That's funny really because there is a Tyler in my group at nursery and he's always naughty. My teacher is always telling him off because he's a real pain so I don't know why such a nice horse has the same name! I don't like Tyler the boy but I do like Tyler and Sarah the horses!

Poor princess

Silly Mad John spent his day watching some princesses and a queen together in their castle. One of the poor little princesses fell down and hurt her arm.

Sunflowers

Today Silly Mad John spent his afternoon planting sunflowers in his garden. He lives in the forest beside the burn. He only had space for nine or ten because his garden is already full of pink, purple and green flowers.

Silly Mad John

Silly Mad John is one of my three grandpas. First there is Pumpa who is mummy's dad, then there is Großvater who is daddy's dad and then there is Silly Mad John who is my 'a-tend' Grandpa - he is not imaginary, just pretend.

Silly Mad John lives in the forest. Sometimes he lives in a pink house but mostly he lives up trees, usually inside leaves so sometimes you can't see him.

Today Silly Mad John couldn't come to see us because his car broke down. But that's ok because I saw him yesterday when he rang our doorbell just after breakfast. I knew it had to be him because when I opened the door no one was there. When he came in he was wearing a pink shirt, a purple hat and red trousers. That's the kind of clothes he usually likes to wear. He brought his dog with him. He has both a dog and a cat.

Silly Mad John's favourite food is sausages.
